IRig Keys 2 Pro stuck notes

I have already submitted a tech support ticket with IK Multimedia about this 10 or so days ago, but haven’t heard from anyone, so trying to get some help here.

I have an iRig Keys 2 pro midi controller. I have been using it with an Iphone (Garageband app), Ipad (Garageband app), and Samsung S25 (Bandlab app), and on all these devices about 3-5 minutes into playing I start getting stuck notes/keys where certain notes/keys will continue playing for much longer than normal.
I have tried resetting the keyboard, which didn’t change anything, and I have also tried updating the firmware through the IK product manager. The IK product manager asks for the serial number of my unit, and when I enter the number at the bottom of the barcode on the unit, the IK product manager tells me that it can’t find the serial number.

I have also tried using IK Multimedia Authorization Manager, but unsuccessfully. The Authorization Manager saves the authorization file as an .html file, but then when I need to upload it it asks for an .xml file. When I manually change the file extension to .xml and tried to upload it, the Authorization Manager crashes.

Anyways, I’m at my wits’ end. Any help would be much appreciated.

The IK Support team would definitely need to handle this one. I will send your information to the team but in the future please PM @DC_IK and me with the information if you have a ticket that isn’t being handled to your satisfaction or expediently.

The serial number you need is on a card in the package so you’d need to register that one. The support team can take care of that, they will likely verify some information first and get you set.

Thanks, Peter. Sounds good. Also, FYI, I only have the keyboard, I don’t have a card or a package for it, so all the information that I have about the keyboard is the information that the keyboard itself contains.

I dont actually have an answer to your issue, but I wanted to sympathize. I just posted in the forum as well with an issue I’ve been having and I’ve been going back and forth with support with days going by in between many of the messages and almost a month later I still dont have my issue resolved so I know it can be very frustrating
