TONEX Board is here! The complete TONEX rig with AmpliTube effects, advanced routing, and touchscreen control

You can try to set the loop section to 100% wet.

Maybe the loop is working like a parallel loop at the moment.

I don’t have the Board here with me anymore, so I can’t check this myself.

Wondering if loops are buffered or not, and what’s the impendance of send/return

That’s stated in the manual.

Can someone clarify something for me please. I’m new to the concept of scenes, and I don’t think I’m thinking about it right, or maybe expecting something that it doesn’t do. I’ve created three presets, basically clean, rhythm and lead tones. I’ve created three scenes within those. My rhythm and lead tones stay the same, and I want different clean tones for different songs. I was hoping that before each song I could go into scene mode and set the clean tone I wanted, switching back to preset mode to play the song. The problem is that the clean scene is not staying on the one I want. Hope I’ve explained that clearly enough. Is that how it should work, or have I got it wrong?

Ok, i’ve checked with Suhr Discovery Delay, and somehow today its fine. No phase issues anymore xd

But there is still one issue left.

I found out that “driving” problem is caused only with echofix reverb and with drive block on. There is significant volume jump when drive block is on witch is causing echofix input to clip (on clean its fine).

I think they should be put in by collections so I would be easier to locate.

Just checking, will phantom power cause any issues if inadvertently applied to the Tonex Board XLR ouputs?

My board arrives today by FedEx and I can’t wait. I’m curious because I know nothing about loading new captures and I’m sure I’ll learn as I go, but I see all this marketing info about these two new classic amps… Once I get my unit set up, am I able to add these in? Is there a cost involved?

Also, I’m interested in the Brown sound captures… How do I go about getting those?

Pay $100 for the bundle… they sound great but it takes time to figure out which one is for a certain song. YouTube is a big help in that regard.

outputs? i dind’t think those had 48v+ now the inputs, yeah, dont put a ribbon on them…

I’m starting to set up my MC6 Pro to control my Tonex Board, and I find that CC 41 with a value of 127 does NOT turn on the tuner as stated in the manual. The CC to change the setlist does work; I tried that as a test.

Any ideas on why the tuner CC doesn’t work?

127 on 41 works perfectly with my Board to turn the tuner on (just checked it with the Midi Captain 10 I have under my desk right now, 127 tuner on, 0 tuner off as intended!) so something is definitely amiss there.

Thanks, that is helpful. :folded_hands:

So for some reason, for the Morningstar, I had to use the release event to trigger the tuner. Maybe that is not really the case and I fat-fingered the first settings, but it works now.

I now have preset and setlist +/-, so I can browse tones without using the screen and knobs. I’ve created a setlist for the presets I like/adapt, so I’m ready to do some damage.

There’s a bug that Jason Sadites reported on one of his videos that the footswitches only change when released instead of the press. Not sure if IK has a fix for it yet.

Ah, that may be why I’ve had no problems with MIDI - one of the first things I did was change the switches to press rather than release.
