your db is 288MB on Tonex 2 or for Tonex Player 1?
My T1 db is well over a 1g with no issues.
Exact same dataset it is 73MB with player2 and won’t start.

Will Tonex integration in Amplitube be updated as well? It could definitely use the new organization features.
For some reason I’m having trouble adding tone models. I was able to drag and drop some at first but now I can’t get it to work. I’m on a newer MacBook with the latest software. I also noticed that the folders I created in the old version did not carry over to the new version. I have performed a library refresh.
I’m having the same issue. With the latest version, the ToneModelFolders, ToneModelFolderAssociations, PresetFolders, and PresetFolderAssociations tables in my TONEX database are being completely wiped and then reseeded with only the factory provided data.
I ended up having to write a Python script to restore those tables in TONEX 2 using the data from my TONEX 1 library.
After installing the new beta version of TONEX 2.0.2 I’ve noticed that library integration with Amplitube is missing. None of my new Tonex Model captures I’ve created since installing beta 2.0 won’t appear in Amplitube. How soon IK will fix this issue?
I used Tonex 2.0 plugin to add a guitar track to a song I am working on in Sonar. Track recording sounded great saved and closed, when I tried to reopen track it “froze” while loading. I had to revert to the non beta version of Tonex 1.12 and uninstall the Beta 2.0 version for the track to open again I really liked the Beta 2.0 version, am using on W11, and can’t use it evidently and am “stuck” using Tonex 1.12. Got any advice?
Please note that you must drag .txp files to Presets and .txm files to Tone Models
Does anyone have a fix for Black Angus loading up everytime? In the previous Tonex is would load My Preset and play my base tone, now I have to start with a very poor Marshall capture each time.
To drag where? Are there instructions available how to integrate Tonex with Amplitube?

My tonex is always making the sound like I’ve loaded something I didn’t purchased.
But I’ve selected only my own tonemodels…
Even reloading the plugin isn’t working.
The standalone version works fine…
This is what happens to me:
- I load my model and it works fine.
- I load an unpurchased model and I can hear the white sound.
- I reload one of my models and the white sound doesn’t disappear…
I close ToneX and reopen it and everything works again
Tonex 2.02 is making Cubase 15 Pro hang when loading a project
There are about 6 or 7 instances of Tonex in this project
If I revert back to the 1.12.1 version everything is fine
I am on Windows 11

How to get the TONEX for Mac/PC 2.0 BETA
Important: Before updating, please note that TONEX for Mac/PC 2.0 BETA will overwrite TONEX for Mac/PC 1.12.1, so we strongly urge users to back-up their existing TONEX library.

- Press the “past & beta releases” button
- Here you will find the downloads available under the beta releases.
Click the red button for Mac or Windows and then run the installer.
To roll back, simply uninstall TONEX for Mac/PC 2.0 BETA and reinstall the stable release included in the IK Product Manager. After this, your back-up can be restored.
Long time tonex user (since the very start) so I’ll add more about the overall soon. Generally fairly pleased with things. I would like to be able to resize the text because it can be awfully small at times.
Biggest thing I wanted to add is that Tonenet is pretty much unusable in the 2.0 format. This may simply be that the “Gear based on” column is missing from Tonenet which could legitimately just be an oversight. I do feel that hiding it in the library function means you can forget about it. Also there’s a really hard balance between enough information and simplicity but I feel like going for a simpler interface will really hurt tonenet. I’ve checked tonenet every 3 or 4 days since launch and there is a certain amount of information which we’re looking for when even thinking about checking a tone model. I think if it stays in the librarian (legitimate choice) that there should be a Tonenet shortcut on the side with the tuner for pedal, tone model, and preset.
Hopefully the tonenet interface can get some love to give players what they are looking for to find fun things to play.

In the wording for the new TONEX Board option it says “this software is exclusive to TONEX Board owners for the duration of the Beta”. As an owner of TONEX Max and Amplitube Max, will this be available to me in TONEX after the beta, since I own everything included there? Personally I know that I may be interested in getting a TONEX Board, but I am going to want to try the new functionality in the app first before buying one. I think it would it also be reasonable for MAX users to have access to this functionality, given the financial investment that they have made in this product already. Thanks.
