In the new version of the beta as well as the 0.2 in CUbase I get the white sound from when previewing premium collections not bought. This has made me re install beta 2.001
Was really hoping to try the new setup with the beta. But says I have to own the board.
I just installed 2.0.4 and newly downloaded Tonex models still don’t show up in Amplitube 5 Max, and neither do the new V2 IK models. And the Amp Model window still forcibly stays on top of all other windows. Very annoying.
Just trying the latest public beta 2.04. Good news is it works in Sonar, the bad news… The UI is a real step backwards. I am finding I need to click on different dropdowns to find different library elements. If I click on the top dropdown I can chose user folders and they are all there but there are no Tone models or partner collections. To access those I have to click on the Tone model dropdowns - why? On the current version you can access all models from the main interface! Also, the lack of the demo audio files is a major dissapointment. It is easy to have an audio demo playing while you demo amp models, on V2 you have to have a guitar plugged in so you have to take your hands of the PC keyboard to play the guitar and demo a tone model.
I’m having exactly the same problem with Sonar.
I’ve followed everything that has been suggested with AI Chatbots about finding the old DLL/VST, deleting and building the VST list again but nothing works.
I’m really pee’d off because I don’t want to go back but I’m 5 songs into a new album and nothing will load.

I make a capture with the tonex 2.0 beta and one of the captures are causing extrange sound problems with my Tonex One, caution guys!!!
Standalone (2.0.4 mac) still does not allow you to change your input from input 1 to anything else…

TONEX 2.0 Player Beta does not affect the Modeler application (there are three applications) so there is something else happening there. You can reach out to IK Support for some assistance but note that TONEX 2.0 is only the player right now. It does not affect captures you make with the Modeler at all nor does it affect your hardware pedals at all.
Uninstall Tonex v2 and re-install the latest 2.0.4, mine now works.

Tested beta 2.04 and it works well as a plugin in Reaper 7.79.
I am still experiencing the usual issues mentioned in my previous posts, and the white noise problem on the free downloadable models persists—specifically after loading a paid model and then switching back to a free one!!
I tried 2.0.4 after not having any luck with 2.0-2.0.2. My 1.x presets and folders are still not found. This is in the Standalone app, as I have not tried anything as a plugin yet.
2.0.4 also crashed with the first click after installing it. I reopened, and then no crash, but Presets/Folders are missing, and the Restore Library command still doesn’t work. I really wish 1.x had a way to save/export my library to a place I designate, so that 2.x could be pointed to that file rather than it trying to find it where it may not be. Not that I have moved anything, but apparently 1.x isn’t saving it where 2.x is looking[?].
Also, not sure why I should be hearing white noise in collections that I have paid for, when auditioning them from the Collections panel.
And, of course, I still have my same issues with the ridiculousness of making common operations reliant upon pop-out/separate windows. I don’t know what IK’s obsession is with ’separates.’ Separate apps for editing, library, captures…. And now separate panels/windows for browsing stuff that should be integral to the app itself. Why, just why? Designers can bill them as separate jobs?

If not, maybe this causes white noise on the prests.
I had noticed that the upgrade made multiple copies of one of my presets when I did the initial upgrade from version 1.12 - I.e. Preset_1, Preset_2, etc. One of the preset copies was getting white noise, but the main one was not. I deleted the copy with noise and made sure that every where else (DAW tracks) referred to the good copy, and that resolved it.
Can you get the new Wizard amp models that are on the Tonex board onto the Tonex pedal? This is a major amp that I want. I’d pay for it!
Two things I’ve encountered so far that affects my workflow is that the previews of tones don’t work when viewing in the tone model window (click on amp open up view tone models of amps and next to each amp model click the preview button), as well as the tones downloaded don’t show up in the Amplitube 5 Tonex database as if the connection between the two applications have been severed with the beta version.
