iLoud Sub - High Frequency Squeal Problem

Hi Guys.

After using the iLoud Sub for three weeks, I’ve run into a problem:

About 10–15 minutes after turning it on, my subwoofer starts emitting a high-frequency squeal at 11.7 kHz that’s audible through my studio monitors.
The squeal isn’t very loud, but it’s noticeable when I’m working.

What I’ve already tried: I swapped out the USB cable, the cables connecting the sound card to the subwoofer, and the cables connecting the subwoofer to the studio monitors; I also connected the subwoofer through a separate power filter.

This squeak is likely hardware or software related.
It disappears (well, not completely it shifts to 18 kHz, which I can no longer hear but is still visible on the spectroid app on my phone) under the following circumstances: turning the device on and off, and changing the system’s sample rate.

I recently sent my subwoofer in for warranty service; they said they didn’t find anything (judging by the documents, they ignored my detailed description and tried to hear the squeak coming from the subwoofer itself, rather than the studio monitors connected to it) and sent it back to me unchanged.

Please advise me on what to do.
I’m thrilled with the subwoofer: it’s worked wonders for the sound in my room but this annoying squeak is really ruining everything :frowning: .
