ARC X - Continue button disabled at Mic Setup

Hello,

I am an iLoud MTM MKII user.

After upgrading my computer to a MacBook M5, I tried to recalibrate my speakers using ARC X, but I ran into a problem.

In the Calibrate → Mic Setup stage, the Continue button in the bottom-right corner never becomes enabled, so I cannot proceed to the next step.

Here is what I have tried:

  • I connected the ARC microphone to the Mic In port on the back of the speaker. In this case, the green Input Levelmeter does not move at all, and the Continue button remains disabled.
  • I also connected the ARC microphone to my audio interface with 48V phantom power enabled. In this case, the green Input Level meter responds normally, but the Continue button is still disabled.

In both cases, I cannot get past the Mic Setup stage.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to fix it?

Have you opened a ticket with IK Support? They would be able to assist you directly with this issue.

The problem has been solved. The issue was that the microphone input level needed to be raised into the “Correct Range,” but it wasn’t high enough.

I think this may have changed after an update, as I don’t remember there being a “Correct Range” before the update. It also seems that the number of measurement positions has increased.
