Does it make any sense to use ARC software when I’ve already done the MTM Mark 1 built in ARC?
Thanks in advance for any advice on this

Would be nice to have a standpoint from @Peter-IK on this indeed.
My assumption is that you better measure your MTM’s first - and then do the ARC software measurement. Since the MTM mk1 - unfortunately - are not supported. ![]()
That is correct technically that you can’t run ARC X on-speaker correction on iLoud MTM MK1 but the software will work as a plugin if you want the advanced ARC X features you see on the ARC X web page.
For system-wide on-speaker correction you could either use ARC Studio or iLoud Sub for full ARC X with any speakers including iLoud MTM MK1 or you can use the calibration built in but that is not ARC X technology.
Ok, great, and what would be the recommendation if one has MTM MK1 and the iLoud Sub? First MTM onboard calibration and then the calibration on the iLoud Sub @Peter-IK ?
You don’t need to do the MK1 on-board calibration if you are using iLoud Sub with them connected. The ARC X measurements that you can load onto iLoud Sub will suffice.
I don’t have an iLoud Sub but have thought about it. If I did it would allow me to store ARC X calibrations?
EDIT - only saw post above this one - didn’t notice @Solidtrax had joined thread.
To summarize: I should stick with the MTM Mk1 onboard ARC calibration unless I add ARC Studio or the iLoud Sub
