Hi guys,
nice product, but do you really want to trash all my space on my SSD c:\ drive?
How can i relocate the files, and how exactly? I have a dedicated space on my D: drive. So, how ist this done? Because i have a failing drive, i have to re-download a lot of content, but there’s no way to let it all end up on my system drive.
I’m not sure, what to move, and where to find the content on my C: drive, it may be scattered.
That doesn’t seem to well thought out. Please make your program so, that it will ask the customers, where to put that stuff. Installing it on C: is quite a bad idea.
In SampleTank (“ST4”) look in the Preference Settings / Sound Content. That will show you where the ST4 sounds library is installed. For example: D:\Libraries\IK Multimedia. You can copy that folder and all its contents to another location, then delete the old path and add the new one in the Preference Settings / Sound Content.. Check that you can load / play the sounds from the new location. If so, then you can delete the old folder and its contents.
Also, you can back up the downloaded files that the IK Product Manager uses to an offline disk, then delete them from the downloads folder to free up more space. If you ever need them again you will not need to download them again.
Good to know, thanks a lot!
