Moving original IK folder (Pianoverse) off my main drive?

Hello,

Thanks for allowing me to join.

Here’s my question regarding Pianoverse Max

The original IK Multimedia folder was installed in my main drive. However, I installed all the piano samples to another SATA drive (G:Samples).

In the Pianoverse settings, under the Sound Content tab, it shows the directory to be G:\IK Multimedia\Pianoverse

All the pianos play fine. No issues.

My question is: Can I delete the original IK Multimedia Folder from my main Drive, reclaiming 208 Gbs. of space, AND not affect Pianoverse in any way?

If the approach is the same as other IK Multimedia libraries, I would think so (but i do not have Pianoverse).

Check that the contents of the 2 library locations are the same (total size, high-level folders, number of files etc.).

Rename the high-level folder on your main drive and check that all the Pianoverse instruments load and play Ok.
