TONEX v2.1.1 (for Mac/PC) is now available in IK Product Manager

What’s new in version 2.1.1:

  • Fixed the order of the Distortion+ diode controls.
  • Fixed overlapping buttons on the Collections page.
  • Fixed an issue with searching for a user’s ToneNET content from their avatar.
  • Improved filter usability and the clear function.
  • General reliability improvements.

Are there any known bugs related to the Amplitube 5 integration? My Tonex favorites list is empty in Amplitube for example, clicking on v2 gives me an empty list, and I can’t find all what I have in Tonex when I try to access it from Amplitube. I have Tonex MAX and Amplitube MAX.

Unfortunately, AmpliTube 5 does not currently integrate the newer Tone Models introduced with the TONEX 2.0 Factory Library, or models added in TONEX 2.1. That’s why some newer content may be missing in AmpliTube, even though it is available in the standalone TONEX app.

As far as I know, support for this newer TONEX content in AmpliTube is planned for Q1 2027.

Eu estava muito animado para atualizar para a versão 2.1 do Tonex e gostei bastante; no entanto, tive muita dificuldade para fazê-lo funcionar em 192kHz — uma taxa de amostragem que eu prefiro muito, pois o som parece muito mais realista e agradável tanto para ouvir quanto para tocar. Depois de muita tentativa e erro e ajustes, consegui fazê-lo funcionar em 192kHz e fiquei muito mais satisfeito com o som. O problema é que, em 192kHz, os gabinetes VIR simplesmente soam terríveis; embora os IRs e os modelos de timbre funcionem perfeitamente, o som do gabinete VIR se torna inutilizável — e eu tenho vários presets ótimos que dependem de VIRs. Ficaria muito decepcionado se não pudesse usar VIRs em 192kHz.

Existe alguma solução para isso, ou haverá uma atualização para corrigir o problema?

Automation don’t work on MacOS 12.7 w/Reaper 7.82. It worked well with ToneX 1 but never with Amplitube 5. With the integration, it looks like problem on AT5 passes on ToneX 2…

I’m new to the Tonex app, got it as a result of purchasing the Tonex Board. With both the 2.1 and now the 2.1.1 version, on Windows 11 I get a high-pitched, distorted tone whenever I start the app. The settings include Windows-specific input and output, and don’t include the Audient audio interface that I am using.

Is there any fix for this?

When will the preview loop player be back? It’s one of the reasons I haven’t updated yet.
