It happens with the latest update at my system as well.
And white noise comes up on tone models i own, and I didn’t called up a try model before.
And it does only dissappear, when I load a V2 model.
I tried the Tonex 2.0 beta as soon as it was released; my workflow relies heavily on AmpliTube 5 and once installing the Beta, none of my captures were available even though they were mostly in Tonex 2.0.
Has this sync issue been fixed?
Feature request for Tonex standalone and editor.
When saving/renaming a preset, please allow us to use the enter/return key to confirm selection. Currently, you need to select “ok/cancel” with the mouse. Get’s annoying with a guitar in your lap.
Also, allow us to rename IR’s.
This is stated as October 1st on the IK site.
This is stated on the TONEX Board → Software web page TONEX Board in the AmpliTube 5 MAX section
Expected to fully support TONEX Board presets by early Q1 2027.

I linked the page, it is on the TONEX Board → Software page. I thought the TONEX 2.0 news piece mentioned October for the main release, I could have sworn it was there too but I do not see that nor the AmpliTube 5 info.
Since TONEX 2 Player is linked tightly to the TONEX Board software updates/release I will now know to direct people there for this information! Thanks for pointing it out.
Bug: previously imported Tonex captures from third parties are no longer found in the beta version.
How to reproduce:
- import Tonex captures from third party in current version (NOT beta).
- Switch to beta 2.0.4
- Try to use the imported models
Expected: models should load correctly
Actual: Tonex throws a models not found error
Feature request for Tonex Editor.
When I’m playing with my Tonex One I often use it with Editor open to change presets and effects.
However two things would really be great quality of live improvements:
- Tuner: the Tonex One diodes while tuning are not very accurate. Could Editor display tuned note and +/- cents?
- Compressor: a gain reduction meter just like in Tonex app would be very useful!

I can’t believe that you can’t sort by gear based on.
Ever since updating to the newest Beta my Tonex app will not recognize that my Tonex pedal is in Direct Monitor Bypaass/Off mode. I get either a double dry signal or the actual preset signal in my ears along with what is playing on the app. Tonex Editor works fine and will turn off the direct monitor. It is incredibly frustrating as it make the app unusaable with the pedal and i have to use an inferior audio interface.

I do not come in here often, I have been using Amplitube since 2018 and love it. One of the best features of the software is that you can connect a midi controller(in my case it is a Behringer FCB1010) and learn midi controls easily. I have been using the Stomp IO since it came out and have also purchased Tonex Pedal.
AND now Tonex Board. I have a hoard of software that I should be able to use on this $1k piece of hardware. I loaded up everything I have as far as Tonex Max and Collections, yet I also have a TON of Amplitube Max stuff that still works great, BUT only if I am connected to an iPad or a computer.
I feel that for the money, this Tonex Board should be able to do a lot more than be a “One Trick Pony”. You have already created the capabilities YEARS ago to be able to do this. Would be great for people like myself, that have heavily invested in your companies software!
Any chance you guys will be incorporating Amplitube 5 more into the Tonex Board since there is not a newer Amplitube hardware device? It was so nice to just be able to easily turn on and off effects with ease why can this not do the same thing? O.o
Yeah, I am a fan of your software, but Tonex Board should be heading in that direction.. Prioritizing your customers needs and letting them use the software that they have purchased over the years.

Re-registered all.
- My old Tonex 1.xx content does not show up in BETA 2.04.
- I managed to upload presets to ToneNet.
- I do, however, not find them in Amplitube 5.
All versions MAX.

I cannot locate the Beta 2.0. Everytime I go to the link it does not have a previous releases place.
Just go to your account on the IK site, go to ‘My Products’ scroll down to TONEX, and under that you should find ‘Past and Beta Releases’ it will be in there.

I used ToneX Max to mix my band’s new metal album. This happening with versions prior to Beta 2.0. I wanted to start making some backing tracks for our upcoming live shows and today I opened the mixing session, although the past months I’ve been using the Tonex Beta 2.0.
I notice that the guitars sound so loud that the mix is basically not audible.
I had to remove the Beta 2.0 and install the latest 1.13.1 and everything is back to normal volume levels again.
Anyone has noticed the same as me or similar behavior ?
I believe that this must be checked from the dev team

The levels for me with the standalone of the latest Beta are fine, but when I open the same presets in Reaper, they are definitely much louder, to the point of having to cut them significantly to make them fit in mixes.
