Running most current version of Reaper and Modo drums V1.5
I have Modo set up to output individual drums and the like to individual channels in Reaper. It all works well except for the cowbell. It has some snare bleed through. To demonstrate, I solo each individual channel in Reaper, and this is how I discovered it.
So I go into Reaper and turn off the snare. Nope, snare still in the cowbell channel. I go into the mixer in Modo and turn off the snare, nope that doesn’t fix it either.
Why is there snare in the cowbell? How do I get rid of it
So I took a close look at what you suggested. And by the way this is for the Silver kit.
In Modo, yes, all of the drums, by default go to the room and overhead to varying degrees, so that’s where that stands. In Reaper, I have the snare and the cowbell going to separate channels.
I did notice that Reaper had the cowbell send set up as stereo source 1/2 > output 1/2, which is not what I want. I wanted stereo source 15/16 > output 1/2. This is how I have it set in Modo. So when I set Reaper to what I want, the cowbell disappears, and once that happens, no matter what I do, I cant get the cowbell back. So I have to quit out, go back in, and try something else.
So I’m going to have to play with this for a while because it’s doing unpredictable things, unless you have a suggestion.
