MODO Drum Vintage HiHat Foot Close - Wrong Room setting

I’ve set up a dry sound (room muted) with mostly Plexi and Black Oyster snare. Using Vintage Hi-Hat. The problem is that all hi-hat articulations are dry except for one. The Foot Close still has a fairly resonant room on it. Other hi-hats don’t suffer from the same issue. Only the one I want to use, of course.

Can others reproduce this? Any ideas for a workaround? I was thinking of maybe using another instance with a different hi-hat, just for foot close. I mean maybe I can get it close, but… really?

Do I have any hope of a fix on this?

Upon further experimentation, the ambience goes away when muting the room channel on the mixer, even though the room for the hihat is already turned down completely at the piece level.

This is definitely a bug.
