I use Modo Bass a VST in Ableton and use automation and CC programed midi to manipulate it. It works well for me, but I am struggling to add Modo Bass pedal board control to my track. I have programmed features like changing between slap to pick and adding let ring to my track with midi CC commands that can be patched using the control tab command list in the program with good success. The problem is the pedal board. I want to turn pedals on and off with the Modo Bass pedal board during the track either using automation, CC commands, etc.. I can’t seem to figure out how. I don’t see a way to learn or program the on/off pedal board controls. There appears to be no learn feature in the program for the pedal board and I can’t patch the the pedalboard switches to show up as automation lanes in Ableton where I can control them. The manual only discusses the features in Section 11 and the pedal board is not listed there. Maybe I am the problem, but if I am missing something obvious please let me know. It seems like pedals would be a basic element for controlling with midi.
