This is a follow-up to my original thread:
Since the original thread is no longer open for replies, I have no choice but to create a new post to provide an update and seek assistance.
Update on the Issues
The IK Product Manager 1.1.16 update issue has now been resolved.
However, the much more serious issue has remained completely unresolved for over two weeks.
There is still no way to log in to my original Chinese IK Multimedia account, recover access to it, or transfer the products and licenses previously registered under that account to the international system.
This effectively means that all the products I legitimately purchased and registered through my Chinese account have been unusable for more than two weeks.
Without access to the account or its associated licenses, I cannot use the products I have already paid for.
No Response Despite Multiple Attempts to Contact Support
As explained in my original post, I have already contacted both the Chinese regional support team and IK Multimedia’s Italian headquarters via email.
I have also sent a private message to @dc_ik, but I have still received no response or meaningful assistance regarding this issue.
Despite multiple attempts to reach IK Multimedia through different channels, there has been no explanation, no solution, and no clear communication about what is happening to existing Chinese accounts and their purchased licenses.
Request for an Official Response
Could @Peter-IK and @dc_ik please clarify:
-
How can Chinese users recover access to their original accounts and registered products?
-
Will existing Chinese product licenses and purchase histories be preserved or transferred to the international system?
-
Is IK Multimedia actively working on restoring Chinese account access?
-
When can affected customers expect a concrete solution?
This is not simply a login inconvenience. It is a serious licensing and customer rights issue. We have paid for these products, yet we have been unable to access or use them for over two weeks.
The continued lack of communication is extremely concerning.
I sincerely hope IK Multimedia will take responsibility for this situation and provide a public explanation and a concrete solution, rather than simply redirecting affected customers to support channels that have already failed to respond.
Thank you.
