How do you eliminate the static and crackle and pops when using ToneX Board as a PC instrument interface? I am running Windows 11. Also, there is a considerable lag that I am not able to eliminate. Any tips? Does everyone just run their ToneX Board through some other interface like Volt or Focusrite?
If you are on Windows, did you install the Tonex ASIO drivers found in the Product Manager->Hardware? If so, make sure you are using them in your DAW device settings.
Aside from that, in the Tonex ASIO settings (the icon is near your desktop clock in the taskbars) you can decrease the ASIO buffer to decrease the latency as well. Just keep in mind that your PC needs to keep up with the lower buffer or you will get crackling noises, how low you can set it depends on now powerful your professor is and your other PC specs.
