MP2 - Miroslov Rework or update

Product:
[Which product is this for?] Miroslov Philharmonic 2 / MP2

Summary:
[Short one-liner summary] Any chance ya’ll are planning a rework or updated GUI for MP2?

Problem / Use Case:
[What problem are you solving? Who is this for? Why is this important?]

Proposed Solution:
[If you have an idea for how this could work, describe it.] I would love to be able to use MP2 more often but compared to other notable libraries, this thing seems so outdated and hard to be useful. I would love to see an updated GUI and a rework of the interface and how it functions. I know the samples are top notch but again, it just seems so outdated.

Priority / Impact:
[Low / Medium / High — optional but helpful] High

Miroslav Philharmonik 2 is best used loaded into SampleTank 4 as you will have more options (patterns/strums, better editing and FX, etc) and it will run properly in 64-bit hosts.

I didn’t even realize you could open it in ST4. I’ll give it a try once I get it downloaded again. Now that I have you here, maybe you can answer a question for me about that. I recently moved my IK library to an external drive since it’s so big and something got corrupted. So I’m picking and choosing what I download now instead of having the whole library sitting there. But when I go to install, it only give me the option to install on my internal even though the path is set inside of IK Product Manager to my external. Can you help me with this. I’m attaching some screenshots so you can see what’s happening. It totally skips over the “destination” option and goes directly to my internal.

there should be options in the product manager to change where you download the zip files for the collections. In that same area you can select the option to allow custom path for sounds installation.

you should read the faq concerning how to install sound packs on the site.

Here is the direct link

If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to remove the current directories inside sample tank that may or may not reference your custom directories(you dont have to remove the ACTUAL sound content if its currently installed in your custom directory ONLY the reference to it in the affected VST library directories). then have it scan all toi remove references to old location. when it updates to having nothing in sampletank or any other vst, then go back to set the directory you want to save them in, and try again. Oh i forget to mention, clearing the saved directories for sound content must be done in miroslav AND sampletank, personally I would do it to ALL of the instruments in the IK suite, but it might just work with those two cleared out.

if that doesn’t work, get a ticket created on the site and start there. these directions i’ve given have owrked many times in the past, so should work for you.
