Making ReSing behave more like a standard plugin

Product:
ReSing

Summary:
Remove requirement to drag files onto resing and drag audio back to track.

Problem / Use Case:
Resing plugin, in non-ARA mode, appears to behave basically like a standalone app that happens to be instantiated in the DAW. It won’t read the input audio from the track and won’t play the audio back to the track. This makes for an unnecessarily clumsy/ugly workflow.

Proposed Solution:
Behave like, for example, Melodyne in non-ARA mode: have the ability to play the audio once to import it into Resing directly from where it sits in the track’s processing chain. Edit parameters to taste and the plugin should then play back according to the DAW’s transport controls. (Better yet, convince Apple to fix ARA, ha ha).

Priority / Impact:
optional but helpful
I admit this might only be of interest to Logic users.
The second part (playback) is more important than the first, since one is likely to adjust/playback many times for each time one does an import.

I would second this feature request
