IK Amplitude 5 crashes harrison mixbus

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. If someone could move it to the correct forum Or give me instructions on how to do it I’d appreciate it. Thanks. My problem

I am using Harrison Mixbus Pro 11.0.289 as my DAW and AmpliTube 5 MAX version 5.10.9. About 2 weeks ago opening a session with tracks that had Amplitube on them crashed the session. Further, trying to add Amplitube to a track also crashed Mixbus. After some investigation I tried rolling back Amplitude to version 5.10.1 per some troubleshooting tips but the problem remains. I have tried to insure that everything that needs admin rights has them. I turned off the virus checker (Bitdefender) but the problem persists.

I hope someone can help me with this. I love Amplitude and it has been my goto amp sim for several years but if the choice comes down Mixbus or Amplitude I will have to go with Mixbus. Again, I love Amplitude but the logistics of moving all my songs to another DAW is rather daunting. So please help. Even a direction to go or some steps to try would be great.

which VST version of amplitube are you using? AU or VST2 or VST3? Does it crash with different version of VST? Also, what sample rate is your project in?

Thanks. I have been using the VST3 version 5.10.9 which is the latest. I have tried rolling it back to 5.10.1 per some other posts I saw on the net. And that crashed as well. All my projects use 44.1 sample rate. No particular reason outside of consistency. Thanks again!

Does it happen if you set project sample rate to 48/24? are all other VSTs in the project also VST3?

I reached out to customer support. It’s been crashing for me on Cubase (Mac)
