Hey Everyone! Has anyone been having an issue with Amplitube iOS crashing after 26.4 update. I contacted IK support over two weeks ago to report the bug and get help but no answer.
Hi, I am using iOS version 26.4 on my iPhone and the app is able to open for me. Have you fully deleted and reinstalled the AmpliTube application?
Yes, I did that and it worked until I tried to restore purchases. When I do that it crashes and refuses to open
I did a clean install and restored purchases without issue.
I also just installed iOS 26.4.1 and the app opens and restores purchases as well.
I have tried that several times and it still crashes. I am unsure what to do.
Can you message me the details of your IK Support ticket? IK username, email you used on the form for them to get back to you, and a brief synopsis of the issue (I know it is here but I can grab it all from the one private message very easily). I can get someone to look at your ticket.
You can also message @DC_IK
Hi Peter,
This might some like a dumb question, but I am not sure how to send you a private message or if the message I am sending you right now is private. Could you provide some guidance as the website has changed significantly. Thank you
I have contacted support several time in the last couple of weeks, but I have not heard back or been given any updates.
Hi, I renew my iphone 12 pro max to 17 pro max with Ios 26.4.2 and I have the same issue when I do restore purches in amplitube Ios.
I tried all steps and everything described in this forum but all of then don’t work..
If anyone has a solution for this error it was very incredible because I inverted over 100 USD in the bundles And now I can’t even open the application.
Best bet is to contact IK Support while you wait for any user suggestions. IK Support will be able to troubleshoot directly with you.
I’m having the same issue on my iPad Pro (crashing after clicking “Restore Purchases”). I got around this by reinstalling the app and when the “Restore Purchases” box came up, I clicked “cancel”. The app stayed open, and going through my inventory of amps, stomps, mics et al I found everything was still there; there was nothing I needed to restore. I did have one crash after that, but another reinstall appears to have fixed that.
My wild guess here is that among my downloaded purchases were the two Fender bundles, which IK appears to have lost the license to since I don’t see them listed in the online store anymore. So when I clicked “Restore Purchases”, the app couldn’t find them, freaked out and crashed. Maybe? Does this sound like anyone else here"s situation?
We still have Fender collections for both iOS and desktop AmpliTube. That won’t be the issue. Best bet is to report your issue to IK Support who can troubleshoot the issue and take care. Thank you.
Did that already. Received an acknowledgment 0n 5/22 from Shawn, basically “we’re working on it and will get back to you”. Nothing since then.
Which Fender Bundles?
These?
And
Yeah, well, no. These are for the desktop Amplitube app. The ones I’m referring to are for the iOS app.
Whoops!
I totally forgot that part lol
So this, then.
Those are the ones I’m talking about. If you open the iOS app, click the “Home” button at lower right and go to the store, they’re no longer listed as an available in-app purchase. Fender amps are mentioned as part of the “All-In” bundle, but these two bundles don’t show up.
