How to Make the Sound of Striking the Keys on the Pianoverse NY Grand S274 Less Noticeable

(I don’t speak English, so I’m using a translation tool.)

I just started using DTM and am using Pianoverse’s NY Grand S274, FL Studio, and FLKey.

When I listen to the sound in my DAW, the sound of the keys being struck is too loud and bothers me.

Even when I adjust parameters like hammer noise, it doesn’t go away.

What can I do to make it less noticeable? Is using an EQ my only option?

When I search on YouTube, I find videos where the sound of the keys being struck isn’t noticeable.

I’d like to know how I can achieve that kind of sound in my DAW as well.

Hi, I use FL and I just tried the VST3 version in FL 2026. It works fine. You go into the setttings into velocity curve and you turn it down and it will by quieter by however many dbfs you turn it down by.

When I tried it, it felt the same as when I lower the velocity of a note in FL Studio.
Since I want to use it without lowering the velocity too much, I’ll use an EQ instead.

I lowered and adjusted the velocity setting within PianoVerse advanced settings.

I also tried adjusting the settings in Pianoverse.
I want to remove just the noise, but since that also makes the piano sound quieter, I think I’ll use the EQ.
