It’s such a great sounding instrument and has provided the perfect vibe and sound for many projects. Is there a plan for a SampleTron 3 or some other mellotron instrument? If not, how long can we expect it to work on an M2 MacBook Pro running Logic Pro?
SampleTron 2 was discontinued and there are no plans at this time for a followup. It runs on Apple Silicon now but it is always a question what will happen with future architectures and OS updates but please reach out if you have any issues and the team will assist you the best that they are able.
That’s disappointing, Peter. Thanks for your quick and honest reply. I guess I’ll have to start shopping for another. Any ideas? LOL.
