Product:
ARCX On-Ear
Summary:
Would like calibration mix percentage and output/input level trim controls added
Problem / Use Case:
Current state, the ARC On Ear calibration will apply full EQ correction to your headphones based on the model selected. I would like to see a mix percentage control added to be able to dial in the amount of correction to taste, which would match functionality of competitors. This allows users to still get some of the signature of their preferred headphones without having to apply user EQ to counteract correction EQ.
Second change would be to add an output level trim control. When using high efficiency headphones (including the newly supported IEM’s) the output level can be very high. Because the volume control is stepped, I cannot set to my preferred level especially with variable volumes coming from computer audio. Adding a digital output level trim would provide more control for the physical knob.
Last change would be a similar tweak to the input volume level.
Proposed Solution:
Calibration Mix - this could be a % slider in the software similar to the Width slider for Studio Simulation.
Output/Input Trim - this could be a dB trim adjustment next to the Output and Input meters on software.
Priority / Impact:
Medium - current functionality isn’t broken but this would be incredibly helpful and make the solution much more competitive.
