Please take a beat if you are frustrated. The information about your issue, include your IK username and the email address you used on the ticket. I am trying to help get your ticket escalated, let’s keep it civil as per the rules and because this is not a medium for direct technical support. The mods are just trying to help you.
I thought I was being civil, Peter. (No multiple exclamation points or all caps.) I was confused about what information you were asking for and asking for clarification; that’s all. My user name is “reydelagarto”, the email I used was “reydelagarto@comcast.net”.
FYI, I have now contacted support three times regarding this and gotten two responses, the latest from Jason Williams saying an update is coming that should fix this.
I am writing to provide an update regarding the persistent crash on launch in AmpliTube version 4.14.5 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max (iPhone 18,2) running iOS 26.5.2.
After further investigation within the iOS Privacy & Security settings, I reviewed the ‘Analytics & Improvements’ logs. I have confirmed that the application consistently triggers a SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) in the main thread during the SKPaymentQueue _updatedTransactions:restored: process. Specifically, the logs show an attempt to access invalid memory (KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000981e3a690) when the application attempts to process transaction restoration from the App Store.
Technical Details:
-
Incident ID: 41F1729C-20B7-4D75-939C-02472136142A
-
Error: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (Segmentation fault: 11)
-
Faulting Process: SKPaymentQueue _updatedTransactions:restored:
-
Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max (iPhone 18,2)
I have already performed a clean reinstallation, but the issue persists, which strongly suggests a bug in how this specific build handles the StoreKit transaction callback.
Note: I have previously submitted this report to your support team but have not yet received a response. Given that the application is currently unusable and this is a critical crash, I am providing this updated technical breakdown hoping for an expedited resolution or a status update.
Please find the crash log attached to this email. I look forward to your prompt response.
Best regards,
I am having this problem too. I filled out and sent a form to ikus_webform@ikmultimedia way back in May and got a receipt e-mail. I have not received anything else since then. I attempted to call and was just pointed back to website. I would be happy to describe my problem more fully if needed here. I am extremely frustrated as Amplitube is my favorite app. Anything that could be done to help would be greatly appreciated as I am grasping at straws here. Thanks,
Eddie Nowaski
