Irig Keys io 49 not charging device

My irig keys io 49 won’t charge my iPad, even though I have both batteries and a power supply. It is receiving midi data, so I’m assuming the cable is not the problem. Anyone else having this issue?

If you are using the IK power supply and your device isn't charging, IK Support can assist you directly and figure out what is happening.

My IRIG PRO I/O is doing the same thing. Did IK Multimedia repair or send you a new unit? How did this get resolved?

I did try to contact technical support. I got an email saying they'd reply in 24 hours, however it's been almost a week and no contact yet.
