I bought what I thought was a brand new Tonex One through Amazon (sold by IK multimedia) and I get an error when trying to register it. the IK product manager says it is registered to another user. Did you guys send me a used pedal when I paid for a new one? I did send a message to support already but a little frustrated I can't use my new pedal and concerned it is not new.

No kidding, I just bought a supposedly new Tonex One and I have the exact same issue here. I was thinking that it was just a one-off mistake by Amazon shipping out a return, now I'm just a little skeptical since it's happened more than once. I just put in a ticket too. Fingers crossed you hear back from support in good time.

Support did get back to me and sent a new registration code that worked but they didn’t provide an explanation for why the original had already been used.

Sounds strange to me, but I'm glad they're rectifying it instead of shrugging it off.

Since the serials are on cards in the box (not printed on the unit itself) for registration, sometimes dupes/issues occur. We and authorized dealers do not sell anything but brand new units as new, anything otherwise would be labeled as a B-stock or similar.
