I would like an option to disable the DAW capabilities in AmpliTube 5. I never use them, and it's a weird nag to always see the "Save Song?" pop-up when I go to quit the app. It's like, "Song!? What song? Oh, right ....".

So, a minor thing, but it would be nice. :D

What I would like and I miss is the looper synchronization with metronome.
This I the most important missing feature for me  .

I think this coul'd also be considered as feature request.
Hope it's okay to just link this thread:

Consider putting a Low and High pass filter in the cabinet section, not just the IR. Just a couple of dials next the the VIR button or something would be sufficient. It would make it equal to what the IR options provide. I don't know how useful others would find this, but I think it would be a good option to have. Seems its already built into AT5 anyways, not sure how hard it would be to put it in there.

I definitely agree that adding a straight-up High/Low-Pass feature to the cabs would be great. It could be built in to the Cab Room, as with the IR-loader controls, or it could just be a rack unit model. Though I'd actually like a little more control over the slope than seems to be available in the IR-loader. :ugeek:

Connect pre-amp of Amp 1 to power amp of Amp 2 via FX loop features

OK, I know IKM backed away from the AT2-era features that let you mix and match pre-amps, power-amps, EQ stacks, etc. But ...

It occurs to me that there is (I think!) a virtual FX loop, between the pre- and power amps, that is built-in to every amp model -- even models of amps that, historically, had no FX loops. This implies that the "virtual" pre- and power-amp sections of each amp model are separate. Thus ...

It seems to me that a super-cool routing feature would be the capacity to run the signal out of any given amp's pre-amp via the FX loop (as normal) but, then, instead of running the signal back into the power amp of the same amp, run the signal back into the power amp of a different amp (essentially via its FX loop return). In other words, there'd be a routing feature that let you "break" the current "simple" FX loop by turning it into a link between one amp (or it's FX loop "out") and another (or its FX loop "in").

I would back the return of pre and power amps. Even they they just gave us simplified or generic power amps based on tube type instead of literally separating every single amp in two. But if they want to do that...

Here's my wish, as a Max user. Less stuff. As in, I only want to download the things that I want. I only want what I want. There's a hundred amps, but I use less than ten. That goes for the cabs, pedals and effects, too.

Each update is so huge, I've had so many issues with the installers over the years, there so much clutter now; let me get rid of the things I don't want. Let me pick the things I want to download, and only have that. Everything else will still be available and authorized and ready to be downloaded if I feel like trying them out again, but I don't want them on my hard drive anymore. I can go get them when I want them.

I want a nice clean and uncluttered experience. Just the things I want and nothing else. I don't need five versions of every amp and a bunch of rack stuff I'll never use.

I would be OK if there were a way to tag "favorites" and then set the UI so that I would be shown that favorites list first by default so that I could have quick access to my "go-to" items.

Make your first folder in your preset list call [ Go To Sounds, then it would be at the top and fast and east to access.

Well, I have a system for putting some of my favorite homebrew presets front and center, but I was thinking more of "favoriting" particular gear models.

I would agree with that. Even though I have a mountain of models, a "favorite" for the ones I use the most would be very welcome.

Are they ever going to put midi control to the Leslie gearshift? Geeze. I shouldn’t haft to make double cabinets and rig things like this. A simple midi cc command line on the gearshift would be simple. Thanks for reading. Been waiting forever.

I like the idea - a performer's "presets" are preset - I would believe that most presets are done well before getting to stage - live mode needs to be clear, big and easy.
I vote for that

now that we are apple m1 ready, i'm considering whether or not i need amplitube 5 max on my laptop. it's just so much stuff and i don't want to dedicate that much space to it when i only use maybe 5% of it? i only use amps, basically, and not many at that.

really wish we could do an a la carte download thing. maybe sort of like the custom shop, where we can pick the gear we want, but not have to dedicate all this hard drive space to it. and of course, favorites and custom sorting options and all that.

1. A way to properly calibrate an expression pedal on amplitube 5/AXE I/O
2. Change the skin. Some areas are very difficult to see as it's all very dark.
3. I find previous versions of amplitube to provide a much simpler method of "save as" I presently have my original preset disappearing or rather being replaced by the "save as" rather than it just adding a completely new preset but retaining the old one.
