Hello everyone, I have a problem. My Tonex pedal is connected to a Tonex cab. When I turn the volume up halfway, it starts making a hissing sound. The louder I turn it up, the louder the hissing sounds become. How can I fix this, and is this normal?
Have you tried using the Tonex pedal noise gate? It could be the software amp causing the hissing which you would notice more as the cab gets louder. Try switching the software amp off and see if the hissing stops. If you still hear the hissing with the software amp switched off, then it’s probably the Tonex cab. I don’t own a Tonex cab so couldn’t say if the hissing is normal or not. I wouldn’t be happy if it did.
