Recording separate tracks in Amplitube DAW

I found out how to do it. Please ignore the post.

Amplitube can certainly do that, assuming you mean using the recording facilities in the software itself and not when it is loaded into an independant DAW.

If you just want to record a track and then play over it, then record the backing track as normal, then deselect record for track one, select track 2 as your recording track, set your sound up on track 2 and jam away.

yes. Amplitube has a 8 track DAW built in. FWIW.. my workflow sometime is, I will out together a musical part of idea in Amplitube, then export it as a wave file, and import into a DAW matching bpm and sample rate.

This is exactly what the Amplitube multi track recorder can do. You just put different Amplitube settings (presets) on each track… so track 1 could be a clean rhythm and track 2 an overdriven lead with delay. You have to arm each track for recording… good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I found out how to do it.
