I love Tonex - I really just want one thing: to be able to put reverbs and delays before the amp. I’m a big fan of shoegaze tones, and it would be so helpful to be able to put reverbs and delays before the amp.
you can use it in amplitube to do that.
You can put the delay effect pre.
I can’t put Amplitube in a pedal though (yet!)
True - but it would be great to be able to do that with the reverb too.
I concur with this - for me one of the main reasons I am on the Tonex platform is to move freely between the Tonex plugin in my DAW (recording) and the Tonex Pedal (live) with the same tone models and presets. Amplitube is currently limited to only the plugin, while Tonex is quite limited in its signal path and effects options.
ToneX are captures of amps and cabs and various distortion effects. If you are using the pedal, i guess you will be using other pedals with it too usually. Though, from an audio engineer perspective, putting devery and delay at the very front of the signal path is counterintuitive.
It depends on what you’re trying to do. If you’re going for an MBV type tone, a reverb in front of a distorted amp is helpful. It’s “wrong” but in a very cool way. And yeah, I can truck out my Lore / Fable / Levitate / whatever, but it’s nice to just bring the Tonex.
i never heard of it. sounds all messed up to me. what do i know.
you it looks like your wish is come true.
