i googled this “Yes, it is normal and expected for the Brown Sound collection to appear in both areas. The Tone Models section stores the raw, captured amp and cabinet profiles, while the Presets include those Tone Models along with any saved effects, EQ adjustments, or noise gate settings” a video saying i need the presets to get the full brown sound
my brown sound collection is under the tone model section when i hit the tone model button. when i hit the preset button and the filter looking thing i only have factory presets
Hi, you would need to download the related presets for that collection. Please see this forum post for details on how to do that: How do I access the new TONEX presets? - #2 by Peter-IK
i hit the preset button on the left then hit collection button at top there are no brown sound 78-79 collection to save all. from my understanding and my googling i should be able to add the 78/79 brown sound collection, am i wrong? jason from ikmultimedia tech says no but how do i get the full sound with eq modulation etc
i did finally figured out to follow your direction but the brown sounds collection are not under presets
i’ve found when this happens, i have to close out of tonex completely and re-open. you can also check whats happening in their logs located in the roaming app data folder, not sure where this is on macs: %appdata%\IK Multimedia\TONEX\SupportLogs
it shows some basic things that tonex is doing, and most likely is that your presets were already downloaded but there isn’t any indications of it happening inside the tonex app/plugin. hopefully there’s some better directions, walkthrough, or manual updates that goes over this more.
my signature brown sound 78-79 collection aren’t in my presets. tech support tried for two week and still isn’t under my presets then said it’s not suppose to be in there? which one is the correct answer under presets or not
brown sound 78-79 collection is under my tone models. is my collection suppose to be in both areas
i did that it didn’t work
