There is no requirement to own a product, IK Support helps people during the demo period. Please open a ticket with them and they'll troubleshoot with you directly and rectify this issue.
Note that you'll find information as to what to put in fields like Serial Number when you might not have one (as during demos, etc) by clicking the info button next to any fields that you are unsure how to complete.
