T-RackS 3 Vintage Compressor Model 670 authorization

Im on Mac OS Mojave on a new computer and installed T-RackS 3 Vintage Compressor Model 670. I'm guessing I need to upgrade it to a newer version, since it didn't show up in Pro Tools 12.

The Authorization Manager says it's authorized, but still doesn't show.

Any help with this?

Hello jonothon77 and welcome to the forums.

I guess it's a possibility that TR3 is a bit too old to work effectively in that OS and PT12, but I can't confirm that.

If you have just installed TR3 and the VC670, do the other modules show up in PT12? Does TR3 open standalone?

An outside chance of a re-boot working, but if not I would suggest putting a ticket in to IK Support here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ for some one-to-one help.

Pro Tools 12 and above require plug-ins to be AAX format and 64-bit.

T-RackS 3 plug-ins are VST 32-bit, VST 64-bit and RTAS.

The good news is that you can install T-RackS 5 Custom Shop, together with the Authorization Manager and Custom Shop programs (both of which are 32-bit, so don't go to Catalina). Run Custom Shop, login and, in the T-RackS section, select [Gear] and "Restore my gear". You should then be able to use TR5 editions of your TR3 plug-ins fully; you can also demo and try the others.

T-RackS 5 plug-ins are: Audio Units, VST 2, VST 3, AAX.
