Is it me or is the stand not designed for use with headphones? The stand has a groove that mates with a pin on the bottom of the iRig so it can't be shifted to the side. Turning the stand at an angle, while moving it back, de-stabilizes the base to the point it can't hold an iPad.
Can IK advise on how to use phones? Anyone else have this issue?
You would want to put the stand against the blank area on the back of the unit, not in front of I/O that you intend to use.

Thanks Peter, as the stand has the cut-out to mate w/ the middle rubber foot on the iRig I wasn't sure if it was safe to move the stand off the rubber foot.
