Hi,
finally and more by accident I found a solution for the font problem. I installed plugins from a different manufacturer and there strangely was the problem displaying the wrong font, yet the same as in Modo Drum.
People in another forum wrote about the same problem and that the problem is that the plugin uses the last installed font. So you should go to C:\Windows\Fonts, find a readable font (in my case I chose Calibri) copy it from this folder to another, click the right mouse button and install it from there again. Unfortunately this didn't help.
1. So I opened Word and searched for the font which Modo Drum and the other plugins wrongly use.
2. I wrote the word STUDIO as it is shown in Modo Drum and after a few tries I finally found the font.
I had installed this font (Vacations in Phuket) from dafont.com a year ago or so.
3. I erased the font from the Windows folder, started my DAW, loaded Modo Drum and finally I could read the words!!!
I don't know which font it is using now but it is finally readable here as well as in the other plugins, where it was unreadable too until now.
4. I reinstalled the Vacations in Phuket font after that again and it still worked and didn't use the unreadable font anymore.
Of course, I know that you out there probably don't have exactly this font installed and a different one is causing trouble, but if you follow the steps above, it should work out for you in the end.
