Id like to tell you an important experience of how to create an real good sounding
Rock or Metal high gain Sound in amplitube.
After i tried many other amp simulation software i noticed that there is always the same difference to amplitube. It is the frequency befor the amp.
there is often too much distortion in the bass frequencies and too less in the mid frequency.
So if you Play muted powerchords it sounds like a fart in the distorted signal.
Even if i tried it with many kinds of guitars and humbuckers and also interfaces.
My solution is a special eq setting at the beginning of the effecktchain.
Decrease all frequencies below 800Hz and increase just ohne frequency at
1,6khz
How far you decrease or increase depends on your taste.
Just mess around and you hear the first time the amp like it should be.
