What is the best ipad pro model that excepts direct irig hd 2 plug in

The iPad Pro series are great models to use with AmpliTube or other music making apps. Personally, I would suggest any iPad Pro model which uses a Lightning port. While USB-C devices will work, these require additional cables/adapters for use with some of our iRig products.

Just purchased the iRig pro. Electric guitar into iRig by 1/4” cable, iRig to iPad Pro via lightning cable. Cannot get GarageBand or AmpliTube to recognize/record/monitor the input. No signal to iRig’s headphone monitor out either. Checked gain levels on guitar, phones, software and iRig, all normal.

Any help out there?

I'm not sure what would cause this issue for you as iRig PRO should work with GarageBand. Please open a ticket with IK Support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support and they will troubleshoot with you directly to resolve this issue for you.
