Messed up my Uno Synth presets - how do I do a factory reset

Postby Gadgetguy » Thu May 30, 2019 11:57 pm

Hello all,

I did not find the instructions about doing a factory reset in the manual - so how can do it?

Thank you for any pointers.

You can use the UNO Synth Editor to reload the factor presets 21-100 (presets 1-20 are not changeable thus you don't have to replace those). You can download the UNO Synth Editor from your IK User Area or you can get the iOS version if you prefer on the App Store.

Thank you for the reply. I am looking for a solution which does not require a computer (I am an Android user - and android app could possibly work: is there one planned?)

There must be a way to do a factory reset on the device itself - or is there not?

In case the only solution is via a PC: is there a one button "reset" option available? (I know I can reset the patches one by one as I have downloaded the PC app - that takes a while for 80 patches...)

Only the first 20 presets are stored internally permanently so you'd need to transfer them from somewhere else. You don't need to restore one by one with the latest version of the editor, there is newer librarian functionality that lets you take care of many (or all of the 80 programmable) presets at one time.

You're welcome! This latest UNO Synth Editor update was amazing. Loving it, can mix and match the available presets, dump over whole banks at a time, and still have all the great actual editor features on hand. Loving it.
