Program change Amplitube 4 in Cubase 8 pro

Hello !
I noticed that in Amplitube 4 loaded as plug in into cubase 8 pro 64bit (windows 10) , program change commands do not work. In other plug in works very well. Is a bug? Is there a solution?

When you say program change are you talking about changing Amplitube presets? If so - can't be done. No bug.

I am trying to do the same thing in Cubase 9 Artist. Is it still not possible to send program change info to the AmpliTube 4 VST?

I know it works in standalone mode because I tested it. I also know that the program change data is reaching the computer from my FCB1010 because I am running a MIDI monitor.

However, it's not affecting the AmpliTube VST. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's how to fix it.
We want to load
C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
AmpliTube 5.dll

But Cubase loads
C:\Program Files\Common Files\vst3
AmpliTube 5.vst3

Therefore RENAME
C:\Program Files\Common Files\vst3
AmpliTube 5.vst3
to
AmpliTube 5.vst3.bkup

Wouldn't that just force Cubase to load the VST2 for AmpliTube instead of the VST3?
