I didn’t quite understand the meaning of this phrase: *Note it is recommended you run the sound library updates FIRST. Thank you.
Is it after installing all libraries or after installing SampleTank 4?
And one more question. How to install SampleTank 4 (Syntronik) libraries on an external SSD? You can 'on the fingers')

This was for those who were installing the 4.0.2 update and would presumably already have the sound content installed.

You can install the sound libraries where you want to, including an external drive. I had installed some Syntronik libraries after SampleTank 4 and it automatically detected my previous SampleTank 3 sound installation path as that is where they should go if you already have SampleTank 3 installed which I did.

Two separate folders where you want them.
Sampletank 4 -- Just for sampletank 4
Sampletank 3--- For sampletank 3 and Syntronic and all older synths
Put in the Sampletank update in and then re-run library scan.
All finds itself if your pathways in the first place were understood by the program.
You just have to have patience loading each section in--painful!!!

If you have not, yes you do.

It is recommended to install before you install the 4.0.2 update but not required.

Multiple file download functionality has been added to the User Area Sounds Download UI.
You can now can select multiple files from a list and download at once.

I am not sure. I can only recommend trying another browser, clearing your cache/cookies, disabling extensions/ad blockers/download managers.

Beyond that I woood recommend contacting IK Support directly and they can assist you further.

Yeah this downloading issue is happening on Internet Explorer. Firefox works though.

Still crashing when loading an instrument over a preloaded C7...doesnt happen with other instruments. CPU usage is a lot improved in Ableton though.

Library Update 1.3 wouldn't download on Safari. I had to use Chrome.

Please note that there is also a new download UI in your IK User Area. Please make sure you clear your caches and also generally utilize the new ability to choose and download multiple files simultaneously. The latter was causing an issue for someone as they didn't realize there was a new way to download.
