Sampletank 3 sounds in Sampletank 4 engine?

Is there an improvement to the sound quality of Sampletank 3 sounds when played in the Sampletank 4 engine

You may detect a slight difference when comparing the same instrument in ST3 and ST4 side-by-side.

There are two "engines" in ST4: one for the ST4 instruments and one for the ST3 instruments (including Imported ST2.5, SampleMoog etc).

The SampleTank 3 engine will load in SampleTank 4 for older sounds. This will be indicated in the EDIT page. ({;ease note that some of the deeper editing features are not available for SampleTank 3 sounds.)

The sounds will be improved when going through the new redesigned FX in ST4. Users will also be able to take advantage of the other tools in SampleTank 4. For example, the streaming availability, new Arpeggiator, new Strummer, and new Phraser.
