SampleTank 4 [and 4.0.8] Now Available!

Hi.
According to ST4 Max, I've just finished install all of samples.
There is one problem on my ST4.
It shows same 3 instruments on my ST4 library.

It means as below,

1973 Stage Electric Piano
1973 Stage Electric Piano
1973 Stage Electric Piano
1973 Stage EP Bright Map
1973 Stage EP Bright Map
1973 Stage EP Bright Map

Those instruments are just same preset and sound.
So It is difficult to find the sound I look for.
How can I fix it ?

On my ST4 Standard I have 2 of everything. I hope there's an easy fix. I have this horrible feeling that the solution to a lot of these issues is going to be to delete everything and start over, once IK fixes this. But I can't imagine spending another entire day downloading, unpacking, installing, authorizing...

I am also seeing three of every sound with the SampleTank 4 Max installs. I have a brand new MacBook Pro 16gb of RAM and I am still 18 hours into this download and install process and and I haven't even installed the guitars yet. I slept 3 hours last night so this will probably be a straight 24 hour process. An I also have a couple of libraries that won't install so this has not been easy to say the least.

There's a separate thread where someone reported multiple instances, and note that even through we relay things from this forum you should each report your issue to IK Support so they can assist you directly as they'll be able to officially provide support - the mods here are not equipped to do so.

And yes, I am familiar with the download and install process for ST4, but no I am not in technical support so I am not the best person to troubleshoot any issues you might be having. I leave that to the experts in support.

I want to post an update to the corrupted zip problem: I've re-downloaded the corrupt zips, (some several times), and I'm now just seeing 2 corrupt zips - ST4_Strings_Samples_Part3.zip, and part4.zip.

I've tried these 4 or 5 times, and they are still bad (according to 7zip).

I'm also seeing the "Three copies of every instrument" problem.

I'm using the 4.0.1 update of ST4.

I'll report both of these to IK support.

It's getting close!

Same here. I actually came here to see if anyone has had this problem with strings 3 and 4 zip files. I did report this issue to tech support. Also am having the same 3 of everything showing up.

Same here. I actually came here to see if anyone has had this problem. I did report this issue to tech support. Also am having the same 3 of everything showing up.

Just a heads up, I was told by IK last night not to download yet until they fixed issues with the content. So I am just waiting for an all clear. Can't see it happening over the weekend, but I hope they are working round the clock

Loading ST4 Piano leads to crash my Macbook, because it runs out of memory! 16GB installed, 8 Cores. Don´t know if the corrupted soundfiles do this, or ab bug in version 4.0.1.

Support is contacted already. I am sure they will have a sleepless night, like we did last night

I hope the support does not pay too much for what happened.

That's very odd since you have a good bit of RAM but even in that case in the mean time are you able to try with the effects turned off? Just a thought, and obviously a band-aid (not Band Aid, for the fogeys out there who remember that!) but might give you some time with the instruments while support fully susses out your issue.

Impossible, because it runs out of memory while loading. Activity screen shows how the application sucks the RAM while loading. Will send a Screenshot to Support.

The other thing that gets me is that Syntronic which is going for a crazy price for the lot is a good or fantastic deal, but i only need about four.
Seeing that i am a great customer the newbies get the best deal
