Irig hd-a not working at all

I just got a new irig hd-a and I'm super confused that it doesn't seem to work at all:
When I''m connecting it to my Samsung s8 it doesn't even light the LED light on the irig
When I'm running the firmware updater (made sure that it's the right one) it doesn't even fin my device. :(

I would recommend opening a ticket with IK Support for direct official support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

I'm sure they can troubleshoot and figure out what's going on. Thank you.
