AmpliTube with Garage Band iRig2 Distorted Sound

Postby drdexter33 » Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:42 am

Long Shot here, but perhaps someone else is having this issue:

Recently switched from an iPhone 6s to an 8

I am trying to use AmpliTube with GarageBand.

When I select AmpliTube as an interop instrument in GarageBand, the audio is distorted.

I am using an Apple adapter 3.5mm to lightening adapter.

The issue doesn't always occur in GarageBand.

IE:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. If I open GarageBand
2. In the Tracks Wizard->External
3. Choose Inter-App Audio
4. Effects->Choose Amplitube
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Everything is golden.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. If I open GarageBand
2. In the Tracks Wizard->External
3. Click the instrument plug icon in GarageBand
4. Choose Inter-App Audio->Instrument-Amplitube
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is what causes the problem.
:x :x :x
Even swapped out the lightning adapter.

I have a ticket open with IK, and they even sent me a replacement iRig2, but the problem persists.

Anyone else have this issue?
