How to find Plugins?

Postby sunnyrose1994 » Fri Jan 18, 2019 7:59 am

I've just installed Custom Shop, SampleTank 3 & Cinematic Percussion. When I launch Cakewalk SONAR Platinum I still don't the Cinematic Percussion sounds when I drag the SampleTank on to the console. How do I get the Cinematic Percussion stuff to appear?
I know there's probably a few more steps I failed to perform.

Thanks :(

Hello sunnyrose1994 and welcome to the forum.

The first thing to do is load ST3 and rebuild the sounds library database - cick the circular arrow button at the bottom of the ST3 Browser.

Does the main ST3 instruments load and play OK?

The Cinematic Percussion instrument-definition and sample files should be installed into sub-folders in the main SampleTank 3 sounds library. Check that that is the case.

If that does not work, please let us know:
-- what is the Disk Path shown in ST3's Preference Settings?
-- the exact path to your ST3 sounds library, Instruments sub-folder,
-- the exact path to your ST3 sounds library, Sounds sub-folder,
-- the exact path to your ST3 Cinematic Percussion sounds library, Instruments sub-folder,
-- the exact path to your ST3 Cinematic Percussion sounds library, Samples sub-folder,
-- and, the number of files and disks space used by the contents of each of those.
