I can not load Miroslav 2CE into SE 3.

The Miroslav tree shows but no instruments load. Sample Tank and Synchronic work[img]

Just to check
(a) did you download, extract and install the MP2 sounds-library file(s)?
(b) does the MP2 CE standalone program work OK? Can you load and play its instruments there?

If not it sounds like the MP2 CE sample files (.pak file extension) are not in exactly the right place. As far as I know, they should be in sub-folders in the main SampleTank 3 sounds library (in the same way as the Syntronik instruments and sample files are).

Can you let us know:
-- what is the path in ST3's Preferences?
-- in what path exactly are the MP2 CE instrument-definition files (.st3i file extension)?
-- in what path exactly are the MP2 CE sample files (.pak file extension)?
-- in what path exactly are the Syntronik instrument-definition files (.st3i file extension)?
-- in what path exactly are the Syntronik sample files (.pak file extension)?

In Ik Multimedia/Samples/
no 51 Miroslav Philharmonik 2CE has 6.51 GB loaded in 3 folders Piano, Strings, Ensemble.

In Ik Multimedia/samples/Synchronic is present it runs as does Sample Tank. Miroslav Philharmonik 2.

The standalone will call but no instruments show in Multi.

MP2 CE "includes a 10GB library with 733 instruments spread out across all the instrument categories". It does not seem that you have all of those.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is raise a Support Ticket, here:
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/
for some one to one help. And, to help others who run into a similar problem, please let us know how it gets resolved.

I can use the scan facility to load the string ensembles and brass. They play in Sample Tank3.
I can see that the database attempts to load.

What are the exact file names I should be looking for?

In the Ik Multimedia folder all the Synchronik files are in it's folder.

In Sample Tank I have all the Sample Tank files as well as the Miroslav .dll .pak .vpa files.

I do not see the .st3i files but Synchronik is fine.

I m using windows 7 pro. Are their any preferred settings that may be not used?

I have gotten the software to run.

I had to uninstall IBM Symphony Suite.

During installation if a screen appears which asks you to close an application, You should consider uninstalling such.

The installations states it will close such for you.

Thanks for the help.
