So I really want to buy amplitube 4 but decided to download demo 1st, demo opens fine in standalone but does not show up in my Protools 12 virtual instruments list, I'm running windows 10 ultimate 64bit with PT12 64bit, when installing it I selected only to install aax plugins and they installed fine into the plugins folder of PT.
do I have to buy amplitube 4 1st and authorize it before it will show in pro tools? I am happy to do this but if it doesn't work in pt12 can u get a refund?
any ideas on how to fix?

It's most likely in a different category list. I find it easiest to show both the category and the manufacturer list, because plugins don't always end up in the proper category.

Also note that AmpliTube 4 is not a virtual instrument.
