I would like to know how the Z Axis (how far away from the speaker) is measured in Amplitube 4, or if there is a way to turn on a grid like previous versions of amplitube? I would like to have the ability to tell "in inches" how far my microphone is from the speaker.
EDIT:
Amplitube 3 had a grid, seems like a silly thing to remove between versions.

AT3 did have a grid, though if I recall correctly it was officially denied that the grid corresponded to "real world" units in any particular way.
Although I agree that it would be nice to know about the relationships between the modeled and "real world" distances in AT4, I would suspect that amongst the possible likely reasons that this is not made explicit could be that the ways that different mics behave as you move them to different distances and locations from various parts of a given speaker are, well, different, and Amplitube is simply trying to cram the "useful" variations of how all the different modelled mics behave into the confines of a single onscreen UI. But I'm just guessing.
