sustain problems [Resolved]

I'm using the Heavy Lead patch, a Mesa Boogie Mark IV emulation. When I attempt to sustain a note, it usually dies after about a bar even though the note on the guitar is still ringing. Is there some setting I need to change here?

It could be that the noise gate is cutting in. You could try reducing the threshold to see if that makes a difference.
