Is there anyway to control the tempo with a MIDI device. I tried the Learn feature but it puts banner text over the tempo so I can't select that to control. Is there another way?
I have another hardware synth with an ARP feature and tempo knob-it would be nice to be able to SampleTank drum patterns up or down in speed with my iRig Pads data knob.

I do not know of a way.
But when SampleTank 3 is used as a plug-in within a D.A.W. or other host application, it automatically synchronizes its global tempo to that of the host application. You can override this in ST3.
If it is synced then you may be able to automate it in the DAW.
